Shopping in Essen
Shopping in Essen has suddenly become a big deal with the launch of a new local business directory in English. This new directory coincidentally comes at the same time as Essen 2010 European city of culture but will be an ongoing service to cater for English speaking shoppers visiting the Essen area. Our new promotional video below shows what this directory can do for local businesses in Essen and we hope to work in partnership with these great folks. We will of course continue to offer SEO to everybody and have also incorporated a new “mini website” for small businesses which will offer a bare bones site at a super competitive price for those on a lower budget!

Good for Essen, and good for you.
But I think directories don work much better than forums, or yahoo answers.

Make your blog comment section into ‘dofollow.”
By default, the wordpress comment section is ‘nofollow,’ meaning that when someone places their link in your blogs comments section, it passes no pagerank.
This really is a debatable point, and what you do will depend on your business model. By turning your blogs comment section into a ‘dofollow’ you will attract a lot more comments, while giving away pagerank at the same time.
For my business model, this is a “dofollow’ blog for my comments because I am more concerned about relationships than about pagerank. I feel that the benefits far exceed the negatives.
